• <H3> This current Emmy nominated "COURAGE" project for 2016/17 was funded by the Swank Foundation for Cerebral Palsy along with the Nemours Foundation.
• <H3> For over a decade now I have been fortunate to work with Nemours and KidsHealth to produce pediatric educational documentaries. The goal being to inform and inspire through 'peer to peer' stories.
• <H3> Most families in medical crisis face fear, pain and mortality far from the spotlight. They can feel very isolated. Working closely with families we give them a chance to use their experiences to help others. The collaborative process of making a film together brings a degree of comfort to the kids, teens and parents. Things just feel a little less lonely. Less invisible.

• <H3> I have worked with Nancy Bennett the chief content officer at Two Bit Circus before. We had success together making advocacy content for the LGBT community on MTV's LOGO channel which was sponsored by Subaru.
• <H3> What set this project apart for me was that it began as an actual fund raising film for Kickstarter and it was my first time feeling the 'do or die' that comes with that. My job was to creative consult and DP the project and try to give it a stylistic 'whole' in terms of look. As a team to work for, Two Bit were bursting with enthusiasm and Nancy has a fun and fluid approach to creative which I think comes through in energy and tone. Anyway. The long and short is that it worked. They made their target, as well as two rounds of venture funding. Our most recent collaborations have been for new Virtual Reality projects.

• <H3> Sassoon wanted me to work on this project as they felt I could combine the ability to make the style processes clear, while preserving an editorial visual style that was more appealing than the typical video look for 'how to'. Also, because I am a documentarian at heart I could deliver the aesthetics on budget without fuss.
• <H3> For anyone interested, the talent were not professional models but successful bloggers. The clips below are short cut-downs of two out of twelve pieces.

• <H3> "WORLD ACTUAL SIZE" [Cutdown]  A personal profile about Emily who was an orphan from Russia with diastrophic dysplasia, a form of dwarfism. 
• <H3> When adults face hardships we often tend to fixate on them, and by doing that start to define ourselves by that sickness or a run of bad luck which can make matters worse. Younger kids and teens I have met on numerous film projects tend to adapt to their difficulties much quicker and then promptly look for a workaround so they can get back to what they enjoy - as best they can of course.

• <H3> This was a diversity project for Deloitte, the accounting firm. The intention was to make a series of vignettes about small businesses and workers from all parts of the world. However at the conclusion of each piece the viewer learns that the subject is actually from the United States. Emphasizing how many different races and cultures make up the economic fabric of this country.
